Professor Xiaolan Fu has been invited formally to serve as member of the board of the UNU Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT), a research and training centre of the United Nations University. She will initially serve a four year term from January 2019 to December 2022. UNU-MERIT trains and carries out research on a range of social, political and economic factors that drive economic development in a global perspective with special emphasis on the process of technological change and innovation.
