Zishi Yang is a 1st-year graduate student in the MPhil in Development Studies programme. She holds a Bachelors in Art History from the University of Hong Kong. Having previously worked with the Badi Foundation, the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, and the Common Future Fund, she is interested in the human-level interactions and impacts of the economic activities and development projects. 

Her research topic is entitled "Humanising the Chinese Labour in Developing Countries: Case Study of A Power Station in Pakistan"
