Oxford scholar sees COVID-19 pandemic as "wake-up call for collaboration"
In an interview for Xhinua Net, TMCD Director Prof, Xiaolan Fu, argued for the need for global corporation to address the Coronavirus pandemic. According to Prof Fu, "Viruses have no nationality. They are the enemy of human community and no country, nobody has the privilege to be exempted from their attacks". She noted that to cope with such challenges as this pandemic, the international community should focus on the "3-Cs" cooperation mode, namely, "cooperation in scientific research and knowledge sharing; coordination in non-medical intervention in combating the virus; cooperation in stabilizing markets, mitigating the negative impact of an economic recession, and prevention of a global economic crisis".
