We are pleased to announce that the ESRC GCRF funded Inclusive Digital Model (IDMODEL) project global high level conference will be held 09:30 – 12:30 (UK time) on Friday 25th February 2022, remotely via Zoom. You can join the event here.

We are extremely honoured that the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus, has agreed to address the event, as have other prestigious speakers from the United Nations, the Commonwealth Secretariat, Bangladesh, Columbia, China, Europe and the UK. 

The success of this project will enable marginalised people in developing countries to generate income and empower themselves using a digital platform. The project results will be presented, and discussions held about how this valuable work can be built upon and replicated in other countries.

The project is led by Professor Xiaolan Fu, Director of the TMCD centre of ODID, University of Oxford and Professor Pervez Ghauri of the University of Birmingham, in partnership with SBK Foundation in Bangladesh
