Mengchen Suo is a DPhil student in International Development. Her current research focuses on how outward foreign direct investment affects the innovation performance of Chinese firms, especially state-owned enterprises. 

Mengchen holds master’s degrees in International Political Economy and Marketing from Johns Hopkins University in the US. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance from Beijing Normal University in China.
